In preparing newsletters/blogs/audio blogs/podcasts/videos, we use the following AI-based tools: OneBizTutor®, our agentic AI platform applied within our project missions. Google Gemini Notebook Pro, to review and scan source materials and support the identification of relevant literature. Grammarly Pro, for language and grammar correction, and stylistic guidance on sentence clarity. Claude, Anthropic, for brainstorming ideas, formulating clear phrasing concepts we had already developed, structuring sections and arguments, and iterative editing support during the drafting and revision process. None of these generated the content of this newsletters and/or blogs etc.. The research question, the design and conduct of project missions and relevant market research for clients, the data collection, the analysis, and the interpretation of findings are our own independent work. Where AI tools were used for language or formulation support, the underlying ideas and arguments originated from us. All AI-assisted text was critically reviewed, verified, and edited before inclusion.

The Strategic Importance of Logistic Hubs in the Southern US for Nearshoring
In recent years, nearshoring has gained substantial momentum in the USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement) economic region. This trend, driven by the need for resilient and diversified supply chains, has positioned Mexico as a critical player in North American manufacturing. However, the true potential of nearshoring can only be unlocked by maintaining strategic logistics hubs in the southern states of the U.S., such as Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. These hubs play a vital role in ensuring the seamless movement of goods between Mexico and the U.S., a key factor in the success of nearshoring initiatives.
The Resurgence of the Brazilian North-East?
Billions in investments are expected to boost the Northeast's gross domestic product (GDP) and allow the local economy to grow faster than the Brazilian average in the long term. According to a study conducted by several national and international consulting firms, the region is expected to record average growth of 3.4 percent per year between 2026 and 2034, which is higher than the 2.5 percent recorded for the country during this period. Industrial development is important for Brazil, whose GDP continues to grow slowly and below the ideal rate of 4% per year, despite progress in the agricultural industry, the service sector, mining and the oil and gas sector. To stimulate growth, an expansion of the manufacturing sector is essential, as has happened in several countries. Therefore, the success of the NIB could be a turning point in national development.
